A black box system in EV batteries to track any unanticipated incident leading to fires have been suggested by Charge Point Operators Society (CPOS) of India.

Following the draft battery swapping policy by Niti Aayog, the suggestion has been made for battery swapping and charging infrastructure. An e-sim or data connectivity to monitor the battery's behaviour, mandatory battery performance and timely recall have also been recommended.

CPOS of India is a forum to provide ease of doing business to charging operators and table the sector's voice before the government.
