Tata Motors' Tiago EV hatchback will be revealed on the 28th of September. Promoted as the most affordable battery-powered car in the market, it is believed to use the Ziptron teachnology, same as the Nexon and Tigor EVs.
The entry-level hatchback is expected to be priced at from Rs 10 lakhs onwards and top out at Rs 12 lakhs.
Through its Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, Tata Motors aims for a “30% electric vehicle penetration by 2030. In addition to this, the company also announced that they will launch 10 new EVs in different product segments, body styles and affordability to make its portfolio diverse and more approachable.”
