EVangelise’22, India’s largest EV innovation challenge in its 2nd Edition plans to focus on building collaborations between Indian manufacturing industry and early-stage startups, engineering students, institutions and EV enthusiasts by solving real-world challenges in the EV industry
The event will explore opportunities to create solutions in the areas of battery safety and EV infrastructure along with participation of industry leaders from Niti Ayog, BPCL, Dassault Systems India Pvt Ltd, MyByk, HSBC, Hero Motocorp and eInfochip.
The focus this year is to put India on the global EV map, as a leader in developing clean, low-cost, innovative technologies that solve critical problems that the industry faces. Apart from identifying the next generation of innovators in the EV sub-components segment
Jagdish Vishwakarma, Minister of State for Industries, Govt. of Gujarat shared that the state has the highest adoption of battery operated 2-wheelers in the country, which makes it an ideal proposition for industries to invest in EV manufacturing in the state. “We are further incentivizing the demand side, with double the amount of subsidy on EVs than any other state, on a per kWh basis. “ He said.
iCreate (International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology) is an autonomous centre of excellence of the Government of Gujarat and is India’s leading institution for transforming tech-based innovations into successful businesses.

EVangelise, the largest EV innovation challenge is a pioneering initiative by iCreate .The initiative was conceptualized to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in the country with sophisticated, energy-efficient and sustainable transportation solutions for the Indian market.
