Talking of resilience, BeiGo X4’s real USP is its twin-wheel integrated power-train technology that facilitates on-demand self-balancing. ‘Always feet on-board’ is the perfect way to travel fatigue-free even in heavy traffic. Even on slopes. Even while reversing. “While many attempted to build a self-balancing scooter, iGo’s innovative engineering ingenuity is bringing this stabilisation without compromising on the performance & agility and without using expensive or high energy-demanding technologies” continued Mr. Suresh who holds more than 20 patents in mobility technologies.
150 KM practical range, 2500+ cycle ultra-durable fire-resistant LifePO4 batteries, 60L of boot space, spacious flat floor legroom, inbuilt pillion footrest and to top it all triple-disc anti-skid braking system make it a compelling proposition. This incredibly innovative crossover scooter is expected to be priced at an affordable introductory price tag of 1.1 Lakhs for the base-variant along with a 5-year warranty up to 1 lakh kilometres for the pioneer customers.
When enquired about the readiness to market, “We’ve run on-road testing for 1000’s of kilometres over multiple product iterations on diverse-terrains. We’ve also developed reliable tier-1 Indian vendors for all the major automotive components with meticulous focus on quality & availability of spares.” says Mr.Sravan
The company’s facility in Whitefield, Bangalore already has an installed capacity of 30K units annually. The startup further investing in automation tools & sophisticated testing equipment is in the final stages of productionisation.
