As part of its Women’s Day celebrations, Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) gathered over 700 female employees to align with the company’s commitment to nurturing talent and enhancing work-life balance. The event featured various team leaders, who shared their valuable experiences and insights, helping younger employees navigate their personal and professional responsibilities more effectively.
The company’s advanced P3 plant, designed with facilities that cater to women, aims to employ up to 30% female staff.
This initiative positions TKM as a preferred employer in the automotive industry, with robust policies aimed at attracting, retaining, and empowering women in manufacturing roles. TKM is dedicated to championing women’s empowerment and setting industry standards for gender diversity, equity, and inclusivity.
Smt. R. Latha (IAS), Secretary of the Karnataka State Commission for Women and Director of the Directorate of Child Protection, served as the chief guest. She inspired attendees with her journey and encouraged employees to envision ambitious career paths while challenging traditional career stereotypes.
