BYD India, a subsidiary of BYD has partnered with three EV charging networks in India -- Chargezone, Volttic, and Indipro to enhance customer convenience and EV charging experience in India.

Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Sr VP - Electric Passenger Vehicle Business - BYD India, said, “This is a key step towards strengthening our EV journey in the country. Chargezone, Volltic and Indipro are key players in electric vehicle charging infrastructure in India. As we step towards a cleaner and greener environment with our All-New e6, we will continue to be at the forefront of accelerating the spread of clean energy.”

Through this partnership, BYD India plans to strengthen its charging footprint in the country. This alliance will cater to the charging needs of the All-New e6 on major highways and across cities in the country.

The Blade Battery, launched by BYD in 2020 is the only battery that successfully passes the nail penetration test, the most rigorous way to test the thermal runaway of batteries.

With its 71.7 kWh Blade Battery, BYD's All-New e6 has a WLTC (city) range of 520km. The All-New e6 offers customers a hassle-free driving experience, as well as AC and DC fast charging, which enables DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in 35 minutes.
