NEW DELHI, 2nd May 2025: Prakriti E-Mobility, which operates Evera Cabs, has announced ambitious plans to acquire nearly 1,000 cabs from the troubled Blue Smart Mobility.
According to company officials, 220 cabs have already been repossessed, with the remainder scheduled to be integrated.
Evera, which has been in the B2B electric vehicle sector for five years and has provided dedicated airport services at Delhi’s T3 International Airport, had previously announced a collaboration with Tata Motors on a fleet of 2000 XPRES-T EVs.
Evera intends to fill the service gap left by BluSmart going belly-up, particularly in its New Delhi International Airport operations, said Nimish Trivedi, Evera’s Co-Founder and CEO.
He stated that the company’s strategy includes the use of experienced vehicles and drivers to ensure consistent service delivery. Evera is dedicated to providing rides with no cancellations or fluctuating prices, emphasising dependability and accessibility.
The company has already hired approximately 150 former BluSmart drivers, with ongoing recruitment efforts to support the expanded fleet, and roughly 10% of the newly hired drivers are women, demonstrating Evera’s commitment to inclusive hiring and workforce development.
