Hyderabad, June 12, 2026:The Telangana Clean Energy Summit 2026 is a premier platform designed to position Telangana at the forefront of India’s clean energy transition and industrial decarbonisation journey. As the state accelerates its move towards a low-carbon economy, the summit will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, technology innovators, researchers and global experts to identify actionable pathways for large-scale renewable energy deployment, clean technology adoption and sustainable industrial growth. With progressive policies, world-class infrastructure and a thriving innovation ecosystem, Telangana is uniquely positioned to emerge as a clean energy and green industrial powerhouse in Southern India. More than a forum for dialogue, the summit aims to catalyse investments, partnerships and implementation frameworks that transform policy vision into commercially viable projects and long-term economic value.
The summit’s technical sessions and panel discussions will focus on some of the most critical pillars shaping the future of the energy transition. Renewable Energy Scale-Up & Grid Integration discussions will explore Telangana’s leadership in solar energy, emerging opportunities in wind and hybrid renewable projects, the state’s vast pumped-storage potential and the development of round-the-clock (RTC) renewable power solutions. The sessions will also examine smart grids, transmission modernisation and digital energy systems needed to support a resilient and future-ready power network. Green Hydrogen & Future Fuels will focus on Telangana’s potential to become a major production and export hub for green hydrogen and green ammonia. Experts will discuss industrial applications across fertilizers, refineries, steel, mobility and other sectors, while addressing critical infrastructure requirements including electrolyzers, storage facilities and transportation corridors.
Under Industrial Decarbonisation & Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS), industry leaders will deliberate on strategies to decarbonise key sectors such as cement, pharmaceuticals, bulk chemicals and manufacturing. Discussions will also cover CCUS pilot projects, industrial electrification, energy efficiency and waste heat recovery solutions that can help industries achieve sustainability goals. The Energy Storage & E-Mobility Ecosystem track will examine opportunities in battery manufacturing, gigafactories and supply-chain development, alongside the rapid growth of electric mobility. Topics will include EV charging infrastructure, fleet electrification and the crucial role of energy storage in strengthening grid stability and enabling greater renewable energy integration.
Recognising that capital will play a pivotal role in accelerating the transition, the Financing Energy Transition sessions will explore ESG investments, green bonds, blended finance mechanisms and innovative funding models. Discussions will also highlight the role of multilateral institutions, private equity and carbon markets in unlocking growth opportunities for Telangana’s industries. The summit will also spotlight Innovation, Startups & Local Manufacturing, showcasing Telangana’s vibrant startup ecosystem, clean-tech innovation hubs and indigenous manufacturing capabilities under the Make in India initiative. The role of public-private partnerships, research collaborations and technology commercialisation in building a globally competitive clean energy ecosystem will be a key area of focus. By bringing together stakeholders from across the energy value chain, the Telangana Clean Energy Summit 2026 aims to accelerate the state’s clean energy ambitions, strengthen industrial competitiveness and establish Telangana as a preferred destination for sustainable investment, innovation and green growth.
