7th August 2025: TVS Motor Company reported robust sales growth in July 2025, registering a 29% increase year-on-year. The company sold 456,350 units during the month, compared to 354,140 units in July 2024.
The two-wheeler segment led the performance with 438,790 units sold, marking a 29% growth over last year. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose by 21%, reaching 308,720 units. Motorcycles grew by 25% to 201,494 units, while scooters recorded a substantial 42% increase with 198,265 units sold in July 2025.

Electric vehicles also contributed to the positive trend, with a 10% increase in sales, rising from 21,442 units in July 2024 to 23,605 units this year. The company noted that magnet availability continues to pose short- to medium-term challenges in this segment.
TVS Motor’s international business recorded its highest ever monthly two-wheeler exports, contributing significantly to overall performance. Total exports grew by 46%, reaching 142,629 units, with two-wheeler exports alone rising by 52% to 130,070 units.
Three-wheeler sales also saw a healthy 21% year-on-year rise, touching 17,560 units. The company’s consistent growth across categories reinforces India’s positioning as a rising hub in the global EV mobility ecosystem.
