Ahmedabad, April 30, 2026: Kia India today announced the inauguration of its 500th service workshop in the country, located at Chandkheda, Ahmedabad—marking a significant milestone in its commitment to delivering a seamless and customer-centric ownership experience for over 1.5 million customers. With this milestone, Kia India has expanded its footprint to 800 service touchpoints across 391 cities, reinforcing accessibility and convenience for customers nationwide. The achievement reflects the company’s continued focus on building a robust, future-ready aftersales ecosystem rooted in trust, transparency and efficiency.
The newly inaugurated West Coast Kia workshop—one of the largest in India—spans 76,069 sq. ft. (41,640 sq. ft. covered area and is designed for high operational efficiency. Equipped with 57 service bays, 100 parking bays, and supported by a team of 90 trained professionals, the facility has the capacity to service up to 40,000 vehicles annually, significantly enhancing regional service capability. Further elevating the customer experience, the facility features a premium ‘Shine Zone’ for advanced exterior care, including ceramic coating, alongside EV-ready infrastructure with a 90 kW DC fast charger supporting dual-vehicle charging. Developed under Kia India’s Green Workshop initiative, the facility integrates sustainability-led practices such as solar power generation, rainwater harvesting, and water recycling systems.
