eVolt India a leading electric vehicle charging Infrastructure startup and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) have entered into a strategic partnership for the building of 75+ EV charging stations in Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Under the partnership agreement, eVolt the Delhi-based provider of charging solutions will install 3.3kW AC and 7.4kW AC charging stations for two-wheelers (E2W) and four-wheelers (E4W) at the current IOCL fueling pumps in these major regions. AC001 (IEC 60309) and Type-2 (IEC 62196) are the supporting charging standards for 7.4kW AC slow and rapid chargers.

This partnership reflects eVolt's mission to promote green mobility and electric vehicle industry growth across markets by constructing a robust, affordable, and connected charging infrastructure network one step closer to fruition.

Sarthak Shukla, Founder, and CEO of eVolt India said,"Our relationship with a key stakeholder like IOCL matches with eVolt's mission to establish a comprehensive EV charging station network and promote widespread EV adoption by reducing range anxiety. Through this relationship, we are happy to contribute to India's green mobility aspirations. With the addition of these charging stations to our existing network, we want to rapidly grow up our EV charging infrastructure across India by collaborating closely with private and public sector partners.”

eVolt is an approved vendor for three Delhi DISCOMs, including BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL), BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL), and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL). eVolt has assisted healthcare and higher education institutions in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi in going green by installing AC and DC charging stations on their premises.
