Greta Electric Scooters, a wholly-owned electric mobility subsidiary of Raj Electromotives Pvt. Ltd., founded in 2019 by Raj Mehta, today announced that it had been awarded the contract to be the e-bike of choice for the NAMO Kisan Panchayat Programme. Under the terms of the contract, the e-bikes are mandated to cover the 16,000 villages across the State.
A total of 182 Greta Electric Scooters were flagged off for the initiative in Gandhinagar. In the presence of Shri. JP Nadda, BJP National President, Shri Bhupendra Patel, Honourable CM, Gujarat & Shri CR Patil, BJP President, Gujarat. The Greta's Harper ZX, is powered by a 60 Volt BLDC motor, charging from any power plug – using less than 2KW of power for a full charge. For the NAMO Kisan Panchayat Programme, the Greta Harper ZX has been modified to accommodate a TV screen to allow the rider to run informative videos during the panchayat sessions. In what is sure to be a relief for the drivers the e-bike also comes with an overhead umbrella, a blessing in the blistering summers.

The Harper ZX is equipped with an aesthetically pleasing Daytime Running Light, Electronic Braking System, Anti-Theft Alarm System, and Smart Shift for simple and efficient operation. Other features include cruise control, a wireless controller, Park Mode, and a programmed speed limit for reverse mode.
The Greta Harper ZX is also equipped with, a 3-speed drive mode, LED digital instrument cluster display, keyless start, Extra-Large Leg Room, Find My Vehicle Alarm, and a USB port. The 10x3.0-inch-wide tubeless tires provide excellent road traction. The chassis consists of a Telescopic Front Fork, Rear Cell Shock Absorbers, a Wireless/ Hydraulic Disc Brake at the front, and a Drum Brake at the rear.
