Ahmedabad, 12 March 2026: Samarth E-Mobility Pvt. Ltd., a technology-first EV company, today announced the development of its 100% indigenous full-stack electric vehicle technology platform, engineered and manufactured entirely in India — marking a major step in strengthening the country’s electric mobility ecosystem. Built under a strong Make in India vision, the platform integrates several critical EV components developed in-house, including the battery pack, battery management system (BMS), motor, motor controller, power control module (PCM), DC-DC converter, AI-controlled onboard fast charger (~1500W), instrument cluster, and a proprietary operating system. The integrated platform will power the company’s upcoming electric motorcycle, slated for launch later this year.
Highlighting its engineering capabilities, Samarth E-Mobility has already achieved key homologation milestones. The battery pack has been tested and homologated by National Automotive Test Tracks in record time, while the company’s in-house BMS has been successfully validated by International Centre for Automotive Technology. The platform will form the technological backbone for Samarth’s future EV products, reinforcing its commitment to building domestic EV intellectual property and reducing import dependency.
Guided by its philosophy of “Advanced Technology. Simplified Design. Premium Experience.”, Samarth E-Mobility has spent the past three years developing its EV technology stack at its R&D centre in Kalol, Gujarat. The company has built strong in-house capabilities enabling seamless hardware–software integration, improved system efficiency, and enhanced safety — tailored specifically for Indian riding conditions.

Commenting on the milestone, Priyank Rakholiya, Co-founder, Samarth E-Mobility, said: “India’s EV transition requires more than assembly-driven solutions. It demands deep engineering, indigenous innovation, and products designed ground-up for Indian riders. Over the past three years, we have built our entire technology stack in-house — from battery systems and software architecture to motors and power electronics. As we prepare to enter the electric motorcycle segment, our focus is on delivering reliable, high-performance electric mobility solutions backed by validated technology and patented designs. We will soon introduce our brand in the premium aspirational segment, reinforcing our vision of building a truly self-reliant EV ecosystem in India.”
The platform has undergone extensive validation, including over 51,000 km of real-world riding, 3,400 km of torture testing, and comprehensive dynamometer testing, ensuring reliability across diverse Indian terrains and climatic conditions. Innovation at Samarth E-Mobility is driven by a 100+ member engineering team, engaged in deep-tech R&D, including work on rare-earth-free motor technology and a proprietary battery management system. Supporting this ecosystem is the company’s 1,50,000+ sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Chhatral, Gujarat, capable of producing over 45,000 electric two-wheelers per month and more than 5 lakh units annually, positioning Samarth E-Mobility for scalable growth. With its full-stack engineering capabilities, strong R&D infrastructure, and focus on safety, performance, and reliability, Samarth E-Mobility aims to play a key role in India’s rapidly evolving electric two-wheeler market. The company plans to launch its first electric motorcycle and brand later this year, setting a new benchmark for technology-led, indigenous electric mobility solutions in India.
