Mumbai, March 1, 2026: Tata Motors Limited reported a strong performance in February 2026, recording total commercial vehicle (CV) sales of 42,940 units across domestic and international markets — a solid 32% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 32,533 units in February 2025. The company’s domestic CV sales stood at 40,893 units, reflecting a 32.8% increase over 30,797 units sold in the same month last year. The International Business delivered 2,047 units, marking a healthy 17.9% growth YoY.
Segment-wise Performance Highlights – Growth momentum was broad-based across key segments:
- HCV Trucks: 13,559 units (up 37.1%)
- ILMCV Trucks: 7,577 units (up 34.1%)
- Passenger Carriers: 5,548 units (up 27.4%)
- SCV Cargo & Pickup: 14,209 units (up 30.4%)
The strong double-digit growth across segments reflects sustained demand across infrastructure, construction, e-commerce logistics, and last-mile mobility applications.
MH&ICV Performance : Domestic sales of MH&ICV (Medium & Heavy Intermediate Commercial Vehicles) in February 2026 stood at 21,423 units, compared to 15,940 units in February 2025 — registering a robust 34.4% YoY growth. On a combined domestic and international basis, MH&ICV sales reached 22,512 units, up from 16,693 units in the corresponding period last year, delivering a 34.9% YoY increase. The continued growth momentum highlights Tata Motors’ strong market positioning, comprehensive product portfolio, and its ability to capitalize on improving fleet utilization, replacement demand, and expanding logistics activity across sectors.
