Mumbai February 25, 2023: Tata Motors’ announcement of the Nexon EV’s non-stop journey from Srinagar to Kanyakumari is a significant step towards promoting EV adoption in India. The journey is aimed at demonstrating the capabilities of the Nexon EV in managing long-distance travel and showcasing the availability of public charging infrastructure throughout the country.
With an enhanced range of 453 km and multiple charging options, the Nexon EV offers uninterrupted inter and intra-city travel, making it a perfect partner for this remarkable expedition. The vehicle is powered by the high voltage Ziptron technology, which has been driven and proven over 800 million kms across diverse and challenging Indian terrain.
The Nexon EV’s features, such as instantaneous torque delivery, ESP with i-VBAC, hill descent control, IP 67 rated battery pack and motor, and multi-mode regen feature, make it capable of being driven in any road conditions across the country. Its luxurious interiors, including ventilated leatherette seats, rear AC vents, and jeweled control knob with active display, make long-distance drives comfortable.
This K2K drive is a great initiative by Tata Motors and is expected to inspire existing and prospective EV owners by offering them conclusive proof of the benefits of the Nexon EV’s long range, coupled with the growing charging infrastructure installed by Tata Power.
