Jio-bp, a collaboration between Reliance Industries and the global energy leader BP, unveiled its innovative Split Fuel Car, featuring two fuel tanks that power the distinct halves of the vehicle’s 6-cylinder engine, during an event held at the Jio World Centre in BKC.
Jio-BP’s diesel, equipped with ACTIVE technology, offers an additional mileage benefit of up to 4.3%*, while its petrol variant with ACTIVE technology ensures that critical engine parts remain up to 10 times cleaner, all at no extra cost to customers at over 1,875 Jio-BP Mobility Stations.
Following the exhibition in Mumbai, Jio-bp plans to take the Split Fuel Car on a roadshow across various Indian cities, allowing the public to witness this active technology in action.
This initiative aims to convey the narrative behind Jio-bp’s International Quality Fuels, which are making high-performance fuels more accessible in India.

During the event, a borescope imaging technique, typically used in the medical field to examine the human body, revealed significant deposits accumulating on critical engine components when using ordinary petrol, which could lead to reduced fuel efficiency.
Since the engine operates under identical conditions in the same vehicle, this demonstration effectively showcased the advantages of utilizing high-performance fuels powered by ACTIVE Technology.
