Gurugram, August 25, 2026: VinFast India, the Indian arm of global electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Federal Bank to provide tailored inventory financing solutions to its authorised dealer network. The partnership is aimed at giving dealers greater financial flexibility, improving operational efficiency and supporting VinFast’s continued expansion across India. Under the agreement, Federal Bank will offer customised inventory financing solutions to help VinFast dealers optimise working capital, maintain healthy vehicle inventory and respond effectively to rising customer demand. The initiative will also strengthen dealers’ operational capabilities as VinFast expands its retail presence nationwide.
By bringing together Federal Bank’s financial expertise and nationwide reach with VinFast’s growing dealer network, the partnership seeks to establish a stronger and more resilient retail ecosystem. The collaboration is expected to support VinFast’s long-term growth in India’s rapidly expanding electric vehicle market. The MoU was signed by Tapan Ghosh, CEO, VinFast Asia, and Kumkum Jain, Additional SVP, Federal Bank Limited.

The partnership forms part of VinFast’s broader strategy to develop a comprehensive electric mobility ecosystem in India through collaborations across financing, charging infrastructure, after-sales services and retail. The company has recently opened its 60th 3S dealership in India and remains on track to establish 75 dealerships nationwide by the end of 2026. The streamlined inventory financing solutions are expected to enhance dealer preparedness, improve inventory management and enable partners to better meet growing demand for electric vehicles.
VinFast is continuing to strengthen its presence in India through investments across manufacturing, retail and customer support infrastructure. In addition to its manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, the company is developing a nationwide dealership and after-sales network while working with strategic partners to make electric mobility more accessible and convenient for Indian consumers.
