(KWV), highlighting strong market acceptance of the newly launched Kinetic DX EV, expanding dealership presence and growing industry recognition as the company advances its nationwide electric vehicle strategy. During its recent Board Meeting, the company reviewed the performance and growth trajectory of its EV business, noting encouraging customer response, increasing dealer interest and positive feedback from automotive experts and enthusiasts.
A major highlight for the company was the recent recognition received by the Kinetic DX EV, which won the prestigious ‘Viewer’s Choice – EV Scooter of the Year’ award. The honour was presented by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, underscoring the scooter’s growing popularity among consumers and its acceptance within the broader automotive ecosystem. The Kinetic DX EV has garnered positive reviews for its family-oriented design, practical features, ride quality, safety technologies and its successful blend of Kinetic’s iconic legacy with contemporary electric mobility solutions. Industry experts, automotive journalists, content creators and early customers have praised the scooter for combining nostalgia with innovation.
To support growing demand, Kinetic Watts & Volts has accelerated its retail expansion across the country. The company has established 20 dealerships across key markets including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Odisha. It plans to add more than 30 additional dealerships during the April–June quarter of FY27, significantly strengthening its national footprint and customer reach. The Board also reaffirmed its commitment to customer-centric growth through investments in retail infrastructure, after-sales service capabilities and deeper penetration into high-potential mobility markets. The strategy aims to create a robust and accessible EV ecosystem while enhancing customer confidence and ownership experience.
Alongside its EV business, Kinetic Engineering’s core auto components division continued to deliver steady growth, reporting revenue of ₹150 crore during the period. The company expects further momentum from new business opportunities that are currently in advanced stages of technical and commercial discussions, which could strengthen its position in the automotive components sector.

The scooter is powered by a 2.6 kWh Range-X LFP battery and features a durable metal body, 37-litre under-seat storage, Easy Key, Easy Flip, Easy Charge functionality, My Kiney voice alerts and Telekinetic connected technologies. Rider-assistance features such as reverse assist, cruise control and hill-hold assist further enhance convenience and usability for everyday commuting.
