Pune, May 9: Force Motors Limited has launched the all-new Force Traveller N Range, introducing a significantly upgraded lineup of ambulances, school buses and delivery vans aimed at delivering better comfort, reliability and lower operating costs. The new range will replace the current generation of the popular Force Traveller, which has been a dominant player in India’s commercial van segment for more than four decades and currently commands over 70 per cent market share.
According to the company, the Traveller N has been developed based on feedback from owners, drivers and passengers, with a focus on improving cabin comfort, reducing maintenance requirements and increasing uptime for fleet operators. The biggest changes are seen inside the cabin, where the vehicle now features a car-like cockpit with a fully digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other upgrades include ergonomically designed seats, improved noise insulation for a quieter ride and a new HVAC system for more effective cooling. On the outside, the Traveller N gets a redesigned front fascia with LED daytime running lights and LED turn indicators, along with a refreshed rear design and a moulded modular roof.
Force Motors has also made extensive structural improvements to the vehicle. The body structure has been comprehensively re-engineered, with fewer body joints and stronger body-in-white construction to enhance durability and fit and finish. The company said the use of robotics and automated door hemming in production has improved build quality and manufacturing consistency. The Traveller N continues to be powered by the company’s proven FM 2.6 CR diesel engine, compliant with BS-VI Stage 2 emission norms, offering dependable performance and fuel efficiency.
Commenting on the launch, Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors, said the company had focused on enhancing the aspects that matter most to customers. “The Force Traveller has earned strong trust over the years. With the Traveller N, we have improved comfort, usability, reliability and cost of ownership, while also raising manufacturing quality and consistency,” he said.
The new Traveller N Range will be offered in ambulance, school bus and delivery van configurations and will come equipped with Force Care, which includes extended warranty, roadside assistance and accidental repair support. The iPulse telematics platform will also provide real-time vehicle tracking and diagnostics. Bookings for the new Force Traveller N Range will open across Force Motors dealerships nationwide from mid-May 2026.
