Vadodara, March 31, 2026 CHARGEZONE is doubling down on India’s EV infrastructure opportunity, announcing plans to deploy 1,000+ high-capacity supercharging stations across national highways by FY2027. The expansion—anchored in a Dealer-Owned, Company-Operated (DOCO) franchise model—is backed by a strategic financing partnership with the State Bank of India (SBI), positioning CHARGEZONE to scale rapidly and capital-efficiently. The rollout will deepen CHARGEZONE’s presence across high-traffic corridors including Delhi–Mumbai, Bengaluru–Hyderabad, Mumbai–Hyderabad, Delhi–Chandigarh, Bengaluru–Chennai, Vizag–Chennai, and Mumbai–Bengaluru—strengthening its lead in India’s fast-growing EV charging market.
Asset-Light, High-Scale Growth Model is at the core of this expansion is the DOCO model—designed to unlock distributed capital while retaining operational control. The model enables landowners, enterprises, and institutions to invest in EV charging assets starting at ₹1 crore, while CHARGEZONE manages execution and operations—ensuring standardisation, uptime, and network reliability. “EV adoption is moving decisively beyond urban clusters into highways and commercial corridors,” said Kartikey Hariyani, Founder & CEO, CHARGEZONE. “We are building infrastructure at scale—1,000+ stations with capacities ranging from 500 kW to 1.5 MW—to support both passenger and commercial EV demand. The DOCO model allows us to accelerate deployment without compromising on quality or control.”
Financing Unlocks Faster Network Expansion to drive adoption, CHARGEZONE has partnered with SBI under the EV Mitra scheme, enabling access to structured financing from ₹10 lakh to ₹10 crore, with repayment tenures of up to seven years. Backed by CGTMSE guarantees and co-investment options, the model lowers entry barriers and accelerates network build-out. Riding Policy Tailwinds and Market Inflection with India targeting 30% EV penetration by 2030 and allocating ₹2,000 crore under the PM E-Drive initiative, the market is entering a critical infrastructure build phase. CHARGEZONE’s aggressive expansion positions it at the centre of this transition capturing early-mover advantage in highway and intercity charging.
Integrated, Future-Ready Infrastructure through Project E-DHARA, CHARGEZONE is integrating solar generation, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and high-speed charging to ensure near 100% uptime and reduce grid dependency—delivering a resilient, scalable, and sustainable charging backbone. With a capital-efficient franchise model, strong financing support, and a clear scale roadmap, CHARGEZONE is positioning itself as a dominant player in India’s EV charging ecosystem—building the backbone for the next phase of electric mobility growth.
