BENGALURU, November 6, 2025: Numeros Motors is making a significant move towards the electric three-wheeler market, with CEO and founder Shreyas Shibulal stating that the company’s current $50 million investment in its two-wheeler business serves as the foundation for this new venture.
At the launch of the company’s latest model, the N-First, Shibulal emphasised that this funding will enhance both manufacturing capabilities and operational efficiency for their expanding product lineup, which includes the Diplos and a recent hybrid model that combines features of a motorcycle and a scooter.
“This is not just another vehicle; it represents a realised vision. The N-First is a bold statement in urban mobility as we also look at other form factors in due course ,” Shibulal remarked.
Priced at an introductory ₹64,999, the N-First is designed for young, urban commuters, particularly women riders, who are increasingly embracing electric two-wheelers in India. Marketed as the first e-scooter specifically built for women, it boasts a lightweight design, sleek aesthetics, and easy handling for daily city riding.
Developed in collaboration with the Italian design firm Wheelab, the N-First merges European style with Indian engineering. Under the tagline “Change Your Vibe”, it aims to make electric mobility both aspirational and accessible to a new generation of riders.
While Shibulal did not disclose specific details about the upcoming three-wheeler, he assured that plans are “progressing in due course,” highlighting that the immediate focus is on ramping up deliveries of the N-First.

“At Numeros, we believe that dependable electric mobility should not be a luxury,” he stated. “The N-First is our most accessible and durable electric vehicle for the growing urban youth segment, especially women, who are shaping India’s EV market,” Shibulal said
The model offers five variants in two colours including Traffic Red and Pure White. Its top-end 3kWh i-Max+ version boasts a certified IDC range of 109 km, while the 2.5 kWh Max and i-Max variants can reach up to 91 km. The scooter operates with a PMSM mid-drive motor and chain transmission for smoother acceleration and high energy efficiency.
Charging time varies between five to eight hours, depending on the variant, and all models support over-the-air updates to improve performance continuously.
From its 16-acre facility in Narasapura near Bengaluru, Numeros has an annual production capacity of 70,000 units and over 300 intellectual property filings, with 113 already granted.
Ramkumar Subbaraj, head of sales at Numeros, shared with EV Story that the company anticipates selling around 1,000 units in the initial phase, targeting South and West India, along with select northern markets that show high EV adoption.
“We’ve partnered with several distributors and are expanding our presence in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, and Thrissur,” Subbaraj added.
With this latest launch and strengthened capital base, Numeros Motors is strategically positioning itself for a broader electric mobility initiative, quietly preparing for its eventual entry into the three-wheeler segment.
