Mumbai, 2 September 2026: JSW MG Motor India Private Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Parth Jindal as Chairman of the Company, with immediate effect. The appointment marks an important milestone for the company as it continues to strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly evolving automotive and electric mobility landscape.Mr. Parth Jindal has been a member of the Board of Directors of JSW MG Motor India since the inception of the joint venture between JSW Group and MG Motor. Over the years, he has played an active role in shaping the company’s strategic direction, with a particular focus on product strategy, manufacturing expansion, localisation, and the long-term development of the company’s operations in India.
As Chairman, Mr. Jindal will continue to provide strategic leadership as JSW MG Motor India advances its growth plans and builds on the foundation established since the formation of the joint venture. His extensive experience across diverse sectors of the JSW Group is expected to further support the company’s efforts to scale its operations, deepen localisation and respond to the evolving needs of Indian consumers. Mr. Parth Jindal currently serves as Managing Director of JSW Cement and JSW Paints, Chairman of JSW Dulux Limited and Chairman of JSW MG Motor India, besides being a Director on the Board of JSW Energy. His leadership spans multiple businesses across manufacturing, energy, paints and mobility, giving him broad experience in driving growth, building brands and leading businesses through periods of transformation.
Beyond the JSW Group’s core businesses, Mr. Jindal is also the Founder of JSW Sports and serves as Chairman and Co-Owner of the Delhi Capitals. Through his involvement in sports, he has contributed to the development of professional sports in India and has played a key role in building and strengthening sports franchises and associated platforms. His appointment as Chairman comes at a significant time for JSW MG Motor India, as the company continues to focus on expanding its product portfolio, strengthening its manufacturing capabilities and increasing the level of localisation across its operations.
