Bengaluru-based Simple Energy’s network strategy has shown a sharp focus on South India. Of the 15 dealerships claimed by the company, the majority have opened in southern Indian states for its twin product portfolio of the newly launched OneS and Gen 1.5 EV scooters.
According to the Suhas Rajkumar-founded company network strategy, its significant dealer footprint is concentrated in Bangalore, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Kochi, and Mangalore. The company says it is also present in Goa and Pune in Maharashtra.
By the fiscal year 2026, company officials anticipate having opened 200 service centers and 150 new stores throughout India, marking a significant expansion of their retail business. Because OneS has an IDC-certified range of 181 km, which enables smooth commuting for customers in rural, semi-urban, and urban areas, company officials said they expect the new scooter to play a key role in reaching these volume goals.
With the recent launch of the OneS EV scooter, Simple Energy aims to transform smart mobility by offering constantly-improving high-performance electric vehicles and enabling a sizable market for intelligent and sustainable transportation.
With an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles, the company’s Hosur facility in Tamil Nadu is backed by a number of angel investors and family offices, including the promoters of Apar Industries, the Haran family office, Dr. A Velumani’s family office, the Vasavi family office, and Balamurugan Arumugam, Chief Growth Officer of Klarity.
Suhas Rajkumar, the founder and CEO of Simple Energy, talked about the company’s plans, saying, “At Simple Energy, we view innovation as an ongoing journey rather than a final goal.” We are thrilled to launch the Simple OneS, which offers the best range in its price segment. Our commitment has always been to push technological boundaries to develop smarter solutions, and this scooter exemplifies that vision.”
The newly launched OneS is equipped with a 5G e-SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, which allows riders to manage phone calls on its 7″ touchscreen dashboard. The dashboard improves rider convenience and connectivity with features like turn-by-turn navigation, app integration, 16.7M color depth, customizable themes, and over-the-air updates.
In addition to improving the ride quality, features like Find My Vehicle, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and regenerative and rapid braking systems also add a degree of security to the One S, said company officials.
