August 9, 2023: The automobile industry is gearing up for an exciting August 2023, as a plethora of new Electric Vehicles are set to hit the Indian market. In the aftermath of the pandemic, the past couple of years have witnessed a remarkable surge in sales and demand for EVs. Notably, 2023 alone has already witnessed the introduction of numerous new models in the market, underscoring the positive indicators of industry growth.

As we move forward, the momentum appears poised to continue, with the potential for a considerable number of launches slated for August. This development is particularly intriguing considering the upcoming festive season, which traditionally boasts the highest sales figures annually. Brands may be strategically preparing for this auspicious period, aiming to capitalize on the traditionally robust market demand during this time of the year.

Eblu FEO 

Godawari Electric Motors recently announced the launch date of its first e-scooter Eblu FEO on August 22’ 2023, Eblu Feo’s Prototype was displayed at Auto Expo 2023 which seems sleek and classy in terms of design. The expected range of Eblu Feo to is 100 – 130 KM and expected to be priced between INR 1lakh – 1.10 lakh.

Ola S1X

Ola Electric is on the brink of introducing the highly anticipated S1X electric scooter in India on 15 August 2023. Building upon the triumph of the S1 Air, which made its debut with a price tag of Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), Ola is poised to push the boundaries of affordability with its upcoming S1X model.

Insiders from the industry have shared insights indicating that the Ola S1X is projected to kick off with a starting price of less than Rs 1 lakh. This move is set to amplify its appeal, rendering it an irresistible option for economical commuters who are in search of a sustainable and budget-friendly alternative to conventional petrol-driven scooters.

Ather 450S 

The launch of the Ather 450S is scheduled for August 11 in India, with an anticipated ex-showroom price of Rs 1.3 lakh. This e-scooter, designed to be more affordable, will sport a reduced battery capacity compared to the 450X, which has a 3.7kWh unit. A teaser shared on Ather's social media has disclosed that the 450S will retain Bluetooth connectivity and a colored dashboard. However, the specific display type, whether LCD or TFT, has yet to be confirmed.
