New Delhi, March 25, 2026: Statiq , India’s largest EV charging network, hosted its inaugural Fleet Day at its Mahipalpur fast-charging hub, celebrating the fleet drivers who are at the forefront of the country’s electric mobility transition. The event brought together over 150 EV fleet drivers—from last-mile delivery partners and cab drivers to logistics operators—who depend on Statiq’s network to power their daily commercial operations. As some of the most frequent users of public charging infrastructure, these drivers play a pivotal role in accelerating EV adoption across urban India. Their consistent, high-volume usage not only demonstrates the reliability of electric vehicles in real-world conditions but also reinforces their growing commercial viability at scale. India’s commercial EV fleet market continues to expand rapidly and is projected to reach 10 million units by 2030, led by two- and three-wheelers in last-mile and ride-hailing segments.
Fleet Day was conceptualized as more than just an event—it served as a platform for recognition, engagement, and dialogue. Moving beyond a purely transactional relationship, Statiq created a space to connect directly with drivers, understand their day-to-day challenges, and celebrate their contribution to the EV ecosystem. The Mahipalpur hub was transformed into a lively, community-driven environment with on-ground branding and interactive activities, reflecting its role as a trusted pit-stop for many drivers.
Akshit Bansal, Founder & CEO, Statiq, said,
“At Statiq, we believe the EV transition is as much about people as it is about technology. Fleet Day is our way of honoring the drivers who trust our network and are actively shaping the future of mobility in India. Their journeys prove that EVs work—reliably, at scale, and in real-world conditions.”
With a rapidly expanding network of charging points across major Indian cities, Statiq is increasingly positioning itself as a key enabler of the country’s commercial EV ecosystem. Its infrastructure is purpose-built to cater to both retail and fleet users, with a strong focus on uptime reliability, fast-charging capabilities, and seamless digital payment integration.
Raghav Arora, Co-Founder & CTO, Statiq, added,
“Fleet drivers are the ultimate stress test for any charging network. They depend on consistent performance multiple times a day, with zero tolerance for downtime. Every decision we make—from charger placement to software reliability—is driven by their needs. Fleet Day gave us a valuable opportunity to engage directly with our most active users.”
The initiative underscores Statiq’s broader vision of evolving from a transactional charging provider to a community-driven platform. By investing in driver engagement, trust, and long-term relationships, the company aims to build a stronger ecosystem where fleet operators and drivers become active partners in India’s EV transition.
Karan Nandwani, AVP – Business Development, Statiq, said,
“Fleet drivers are among the most active users of EV infrastructure. Fleet Day is our way of recognizing and appreciating the people who keep the EV ecosystem moving every single day.”
Following the success of its inaugural edition, Fleet Day marks the beginning of a larger community engagement program that Statiq plans to roll out across multiple cities and key charging hubs. The company is also exploring driver-focused initiatives such as loyalty programs, dedicated fleet support services, and regular on-ground activations to deepen its engagement with the fast-growing commercial EV segment.
