National, May 27, 2025 – Pickkup, a logistics company based in Delhi that specialises in environmentally friendly intra- and inter-city deliveries, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Jupiter Electric Mobility to install 300 units of JEM TEZs, high-performance electric light commercial vehicles (e-LCVs), in Pickkup's EV fleet by the end of 2025.

The first batch of vehicles was delivered successfully, marking the start of the rollout. After completing extensive testing, these devices have demonstrated a dependable range of 190 to 220 kilometres per charge in a range of real-world situations, such as congested city streets and quick intercity routes like Delhi to Chandigarh.

According to Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Group, JEM's objective is to equip logistics providers with next-generation EVs that provide the best possible performance, sustainability, and affordability. "Our collaboration with Pickkup represents a significant advancement in facilitating tech-driven, environmentally friendly, and scalable last- and mid-mile logistics solutions that also increase operational profitability." He also said

The CEO and co-founder of Pickkup, Ankush Sharma, commended the JEM TEZ vehicle, saying, "JEM TEZ has set a new standard in electric logistics." It is perfect for intercity use because it supports CCS2 fast charging, has a 30% longer range, and can carry up to 1050 kg. These cars have a daily range of up to 250 km, which gives drivers great earning potential and fleet operators cost-effectiveness.

'Pickkup' focuses on electric-first delivery models and operates in major NCR regions as well as growing tier-2 cities like Mohali and Chandigarh. In addition to enhancing Pickkup's EV capabilities, the partnership advances India's larger objectives of energy independence, carbon emission reduction, and sustainable economic growth.

JEM aims to ensure excellent local manufacturing and lessen India's reliance on imports with its state-of-the-art EV manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Indore, which has an annual production capacity of 8,000–10,000 e-LCVs.
